About this machine

The G1 EDU Combat Edition is what Unitree sells when the buyer intends the machine to be hit. It is a G1 with a reinforced waist and arms, a Jetson Orin NX compute module, gloves and a helmet — the reinforcement is the entire product, because a standard G1 is not built to absorb repeated impact.

It is sold into the United States through Robots International in Las Vegas at a reported $63,900, roughly five times the base G1. It ships with a repair subsidy rather than a warranty, which is the vendor's own acknowledgement that a fighting robot is a consumable.

Photography here is of the G1 chassis. Unitree has not published studio views of the combat trim specifically, and this record does not pass a standard G1 off as one.
