REK's own channel now carries an extended cut of the human-versus-humanoid robot fight

REK's YouTube channel lists a video titled 'World's First Human VS Humanoid Robot FULL FIGHT, Extended Cut', its first first-party footage of the 18 September San Francisco fight. REK still has not published a result for each bout.

REK's own YouTube channel now carries a video titled "World's First Human VS Humanoid Robot FULL FIGHT | Extended Cut". It is the promotion's first-party footage of the 18 September cage fight in which the YouTuber Frankie LaPenna faced humanoid robots in San Francisco. The channel listing shows it as posted about eight days before 17 October.

That matters because, until now, the footage on this site came from third parties. The clip in the Roboxing watch archive is a short uploaded by the news channel Cheddar, and when this site first recorded the fight, REK had no channel of its own to point to. The fight was invite-only and was never streamed.

What the video settles is not yet clear. Roboxing has confirmed the title and the channel through YouTube's embed service, and nothing else about the upload: not its running time, not which of the bouts it includes, and not whether it ends the argument over the results. Accounts of the night still differ. A Chinese-language report relaying Chosun Ilbo said LaPenna went 2-1; Fox News described a Unitree G1 followed by two modified EngineAI T800s; REK founder Cix Liv has said a T800 knocked LaPenna down and that one fight ended with the robot's head coming off. This site does not treat any single account as a record. REK has not published an official result for each bout.

A promoter's own full-length footage is the best primary source the dispute has had. Readers can watch it below and judge for themselves; this site will update its record, with the bout-by-bout result, once the footage and a second independent source agree.

The video has also been added to the watch archive.
