The first public human-versus-humanoid fight staged by an American promotion. REK's earlier events were robot against robot; this one put a person in the cage with the machine, which is what made the size of a full-scale humanoid legible to an audience for the first time.

Frankie LaPenna, a boxer, went into an octagon with a 1.83-metre EngineAI T800 and was put down by it.
The machine was not autonomous. A human operator drove it in real time from the edge of the cage through a VR headset and motion controllers, while the robot's own systems held its balance and corrected its posture — so what the video shows is one person fighting another through a machine.
REK published no scorecard, no round structure and no injury report, and the footage that circulated runs about 45 seconds. It is recorded here as an exhibition for that reason: it happened, it is worth having, and it is not a sanctioned result.
