ARC — Avatar Robotic Competition
ARC — Avatar Robotic Competition is a humanoid robot fighting league run by Katena.
ARC — the Avatar Robotic Competition — is a humanoid combat league run by Katena, a robotics company whose product is the control layer: a full-body motion-capture suit and a "Synchronization OS" that maps a pilot's body onto a robot in real time. ARC describes itself as "a global combat league in which human pilots and their humanoid avatars compete as one", and says nothing in a match is scripted.
That makes the format the point. ARC's pilots are not on game controllers or VR headsets; they wear the suit, and the robot mirrors them. Balance and locomotion are handled by the robot; every strike is the pilot's. ARC fights in two weight classes — the Unitree G1 as lightweight and the EngineAI T800 as heavyweight — and recruits professional martial artists as pilots.
After nights in New York and Chicago on the G1, ARC staged Singapore's first full-sized humanoid fight night on 7 October 2026, its first with the T800. Founder Antonio Gai called it "not yet the sport", but "a demonstration of the idea", and says more international showcases are coming. ARC names no champion and publishes no standings yet.

A showcase rather than a competition: ARC named no overall winner. By the promoter's account the moment of the night was Lukas Leasure's G1 knocking down Steel Shadow's robot.
