What does a humanoid fighting robot cost? The published prices for the Unitree G1, the EngineAI T800 and an RFC team

The G1 was announced at about $16,000 in May 2024; the T800 launched from 180,000 yuan (about $25,000) to $50,000; RFC listed USD 90,000 and 120,000 packages before replacing them with 'pricing on request'. Every figure is dated and sourced, and none is confirmed as a current list price.

Nobody publishes one price for "a humanoid fighting robot", because the leagues use different machines and sell them in different ways. Here is what named sources have published, with the date of each figure. None of these prices was confirmed by Roboxing on the maker's current store page, so treat them as launch or reported prices.

UNITREE G1: ABOUT 16,000 DOLLARS AT LAUNCH

The Unitree G1 is the machine UFB assigns to its teams and the one CMG's 2025 robot-fighting event used. When Unitree unveiled it in May 2024, heise online headlined it as costing 16,000 dollars, and Free Malaysia Today, republishing an ETX Daily report, described the G1 as priced at US$16,000, excluding tax and shipping. The same report gave its battery life as two hours in theory. Roboxing's own machine record lists the G1 at about $13,500, which corresponds to a China price of RMB 99,000. A fighting version is not necessarily the base model: Unitree modified the G1 for the 2025 CMG event, and Roboxing has not found a published price for any modified or edu configuration.

ENGINEAI T800: FOUR TIERS AT THE DECEMBER 2025 LAUNCH

The T800 is the machine URKL fighters use. Notebookcheck's report on its launch gave four configurations: Base from 180,000 yuan (about $25,000), Ecosystem at $33,000, Pro at $38,500 and Max at $50,000, plus a $700 deposit on the pre-order page. One tracker site has claimed that EngineAI stopped publishing a T800 price at the end of September 2026. Roboxing could not confirm that on EngineAI's own site, so it does not say whether the launch prices still apply.

RFC: A ROBOT, OR A TEAM, FOR A STATED PRICE

The Robot Fighting Championship (RFC) is the only league Roboxing has seen put a price on joining. On 26 October its website listed two packages, each including one T800: "Robot Only" at USD 90,000 and "Team Forming" at USD 120,000, which added pilot training and engineering support. The packages also list 12 months of maintenance and development support. Their figures are higher than the T800 launch prices above, and RFC does not itemise the difference, so Roboxing does not explain it. By 3 November the same page showed a placeholder and "pricing on request", so the two figures are no longer shown as current.

WHAT THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE

None of these figures covers damage. RFC's page says it provides maintenance support rather than a warranty, and that repairs are charged at cost. For teams in leagues that supply the machine, such as UFB with its league-assigned G1s, the purchase price is not the team's cost at all, and Roboxing has found no published figure for what UFB teams pay.

WHAT IS NOT KNOWN

The current list price of either machine on its maker's store, what a fight-ready modification costs, what a season of repairs costs, and any prize money that offsets it. Sources: heise online and Free Malaysia Today (16 May 2024), Notebookcheck (T800 launch report), and RFC's website as recorded in Roboxing's earlier stories.
