Ultimate Bots says four teams have locked in for Season 2. The newest short on UFB's own YouTube channel, as of 19 October, is titled "4 TEAMS HAVE LOCKED IN! | SEASON 2 UFB SOON!".
That title is all we can verify. We could not read the video's description or its contents, so we do not know which teams are meant, who leads them, or what locking in involves, for example a signed entry, a chosen robot or a captain's commitment. We also could not establish the upload date with confidence beyond its being the latest short on the channel.
How it fits: on 14 October we published the Season 2 schedule with four teams mentioned but not named. On 17 October UFB began naming "robot boxing league captains" in two other shorts. This is the first UFB post to describe the team line-up as settled, though it names no one.
The calendar on ultimatebots.com/schedule has not changed as of today: TwitchCon San Diego on 12 to 15 November, then Santa Clara, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Jose, with tickets still listed as "coming soon". The roster, start times and scoring split between disciplines remain unpublished.
We will update this page when UFB names the teams.
