UFB posts clips of its robots on a TED stage: dancing and punch-mirroring, per its own channel
Ultimate Bots published three clips between 28 October and 1 November showing humanoid robots dancing and mirroring a person's punches on a TED stage. They are demos, not fights; the talk's date is unverified.

Ultimate Bots (UFB), the league that opens its Season 2 at TwitchCon San Diego on 12 November, spent the last week of October posting clips of its robots on a TED stage. None of it is a fight, but it shows what the league's engineers say sits underneath its robots' movement.
Per UFB's own YouTube channel, three clips went up between 28 October and 1 November. The first, "Can this robot dance?" (28 October), is described by UFB as showing its David Dobáš explain how thousands of robots learn to balance and move in simulation, then putting one to the test in the real world on the TED stage with a Chinese New Year dance.
The second, "We brought our robots to TED TALK!" (30 October), shows two humanoid robots dancing live on the TED stage, performing moves taught by an Oakland dancer named Johnny, choreographed with what UFB calls its video-to-robot tools.
The third, "This Robot is the MASTER Copycat" (1 November), is the one closest to boxing. UFB says that a camera tracks a person's punches and kicks and the robot mirrors them live, which it describes as direct body control. Throw a punch, in UFB's words, and the humanoid robot throws one back.
WHAT THIS DOES AND DOES NOT TELL YOU
UFB's own descriptions say only "the TED stage". They do not give the date or the title of the talk, and Roboxing has not found independent coverage of it, so those details are unverified. The clips are demonstrations of motion tools, not scored bouts, and UFB does not say that the tools will be used in Season 2.
They are still useful context. UFB's Season 2 format has four permanent teams on league-assigned robots, scored across martial arts, dancing and an obstacle course, per the league's schedule. A pipeline that teaches a robot a routine from video, and a camera-based mirror mode, are the kinds of tools such a format would use. That is an inference, not a UFB statement.
The next dated UFB event on the schedule is the Season 2 opener at TwitchCon San Diego, 12 to 15 November 2026. Ticket details and the card have not been announced.
