REK 2.1 playoffs: week 2 of the simulator qualifier runs 6-7 November, per REK's Steam page
REK's Steam post dates the second and final week of its REK 2.1 simulator playoffs as 6 Nov 8 PM to 7 Nov 8 PM Pacific; the top 6 each week advance. Results and the 20 November plan are still unpublished.
REK has now dated the second and last week of its REK 2.1 simulator playoffs: 6 November, 8 PM, to 7 November, 8 PM, in the Pacific time REK writes as "PST". That window is open as this is written. Earlier Roboxing stories said REK had not published week 2 dates; its Steam page now does.
WHAT REK SAYS
REK's announcement on Steam, headed "Rek 2.1 Playoffs.", reads in full: "Week 2 of 2 - Nov 6 8PM PST to Nov 7 8PM PST. The top 6 players on the leaderboard each week advance to the next stage, for a total of 12 players across 2 weeks. Play on your preferred platform: PC, Meta Quest, or iOS via TestFlight." The page's feed stamps the post at 05:28 UTC on 7 November. The 30 October announcement of the playoffs, headed "Win and Pilot a real robot.", now carries the same week 2 line, so it appears to have been edited after publication; the feed does not say when.
THE CLOCK
Week 1 ran from 30 October, 8 PM, to 31 October, 8 PM. The Pacific clocks went back on 1 November, so "PST" is exact for week 2. Taking REK's wording at face value, week 2 opens at 04:00 UTC on 7 November and closes at 04:00 UTC on 8 November. Week 1 therefore ended a week before week 2 began.
WHAT IT IS, AND IS NOT
The playoffs are played in REK Sim, a game. Players do not remote-control a real robot while they compete. REK's headline promises that the winners pilot one; the Steam post does not say when, where or how many fights that involves. REK also announced REK 2.1 for 20 November in a YouTube short, and has not said whether the 12 advancing players fight on that date.
WHAT REK HAS NOT PUBLISHED
Roboxing has not found the week 1 leaderboard, the names of its six advancing players, what "the next stage" is, or a venue, stream or card for 20 November. rek.com loads in the browser and returned nothing readable to us, so absence there is unverified. Because no live fight is confirmed, the schedule does not carry a REK 2.1 fight yet; it will be added when REK names a date and place for one.
